Gigaset and Yahoo! have joined forces to make it easier to start internet calling at home.
The Gigaset package consists of a telephone, the Gigaset S450 Y, and an enabling device, the Gigaset M34 USB. Plug in the M34 USB to your PC and install the software, and you’re ready to start phoning over the internet. You’ll be able to phone more cheaply, use your phone as a remote for your computer and transfer the phonebook entries stored on your PC to your Gigaset handset. Plus, you can call everyone on your Yahoo! friends list by pressing one button. Switching between internet and traditional phoning also requires the touch of only one button.

Yeah Bluetooth & WLAN is cool. But I use the cheap Topcom Butler 300+ Dect-headset. Sound quality, battery & range is fine. I dial my SL150 with headset plugged to ear. As soon as number is dialed I open headset and close SL150. Then I can talk FREE. Siemens should develop Dect-headset.
I dont like design of SL55 handset. It's unnecessarily big and squarish. I would like SL1 handset with the display and extended capability of SL55. Siemens should develop that. It's easier to dial on SL1 than SL55, and SL1 is a beautiful peice of work. Minimalist design is what I like.
