Questions cencerning firmware version: 010570000000 / 034.00 (EEPROM version: 84)
I have two questions:
1. Do you know if and how it is possible to downgrade the C450IP back to
firmware baseline 30 ?
Everytime I try to do this- setting 'User defined firmware file:' as:
a) https://gigaset.siemens.com/chagall/1/chagall030_01.bin OR
b) My own compiled firmware (default settings) source downloaded from:
http://gigaset.siemens.com/shc/0,193...rNrNrN,00.html
I get in the webinterface the Javascript alert message: "Firmware update not
possible: Latest firmware version is already installed."
2. Do you also experience problems after this upgrade that third-party DECT
phones (i.e Ucom.be Cocoon 910) can't register anymore with the basestation?

Hi Vincent, I find the exact same problems with my handset afterupgrading it. I upgraded first to 057 then 059 and now 061. I can upgrade but i cannot downgrade nor install my own compiled FW.
I tried to rename the 030 FW and I also changed the date, but no luck! It seems that Siemens added somewhere in the FW something that makes downgrading or upgrading own FW's impossible...

i m unable to configure this basestation on C450IP
it gets ip from dhcp server 192.168.1.4 and i logon to this device then i go to telephony to configure the sip setting but i can not type anything there i should be able to type it via web if not via phone.
the phone is also paired with base station coz i can reset the base,change password of base via handset so it is connected to base and i can see the INT on the handset.
all i want i should be able to configured it via web IE since i can logon into device by ie i should be also to whatever i want...

I have bought a C450 gigasetmany days ago and my telephone service provider activated CLIP on telephone line because another telephone on this line, display the caller no. But only this telephone (siemens gigaset cordless C450) do not display the caller no. Does it need to any adjustment?
