Last Sunday the Observer published their list of the World’s 50 most powerful blogs. The Huffington Post ranks first, followed by Boing Boing and TechCrunch.

The magazine however does not explain how the blogs have been evaluated, and with icanhascheezburger ranking at 8th on the list ahead of Gawker and Engadget, it seems to me that not power or social impact is the main criteria but page impressions.

The Gigaset-Blog is not yet listed but we keep up! ;)
