Twice I got a response that I'll get back a response in two days.
It over 10 days with no response. I can not use the phone I bought. Please help. Amnon Picker

Hi Amnon,
I am quite sure that there is no manual in English as this phone is not sold in English speaking countries. But I will double-check for you...

There are other more UK friendly versions of the Siemens Gigaset and if you need a manual downloading for UK users please ask :)
Siemens also do a ECO DECT PHONE which as the models mentioned earlier uses 60% less energy than a normal Dect handset. Better for the environment and better on your wallet. Its a little less easy on the eye as the Gigaset but if its just for a work phone then isnt functionality more important?

And if you need a manual for any of these i can download them for you.

I can hardly believe that Siemens don't provide an English manual with the Gigaset AC265. I have just bought this phone in Nantes France for use in France where I live. ON the outside of the box is:
GB and a list of the phone's features in English. What is the point of that? I can probably work it out eventually but Christ I have got better things to do with my time. This is misleading by Siemens as most European products come with a manual in multi language form.

Quite agree with Bigboxshop's comment November 10, 2008. Unbelievable that there's no manual in English. I have bought a Gigaset AS285 and same problem. Very disappointing.
